Credit Crunch Grip Weakening as Conditions Start to Stablise - CBI

Access to finance remains a serious problem for businesses, but the rate of deterioration in credit conditions slowed further over the past three months, and conditions are expected to stabilise in the months ahead, the UK’s Confederation of British Industry (CBI) has said.

Responding to the CBI's latest Access to Finance Survey, businesses were less negative than they were in March about the supply of new and existing credit.

Late Payment Remains the Big Problem but Turnover Expectations Improve

The latest British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Monthly Business Survey reveals the extent of the problem businesses face with late payment and confirms their recruitment intentions over the summer months.

New Report Identifies the UK’s Post-Recession ‘bounce-back consumer’
