I have built a few websites for myself and my clients, and I'm pretty chuffed about how well they do eg: in top 1-2% of Alexa rankings, but also because they are all really, really good information / resource / self help sites that members might like to check out...

Also this could be a good spot to post your new websites and ask for feedback about how well it promotes your traditional business, or how to monetise their existing websites for separate streams of income etc.

My wife and I have started a small web design business after being asked by a family friend to help build them a web site. We offer a service now to small business who want a web site but not lots of money. We both enjoy making the sites and not having the money to advertise all our work comes from word of mouth. Does our own web site inspire you to use us? We changed it so many times. Its nice to have a forum like this to be able to get feedback as asking family and friends i think does not give you an unbias answer..thanks to Rob now i can get feedback i hope

Nice looking site. Two comments:

1. The picture at the top of the page - calm and peaceful but little to do with foreclosure. Can you find a picture of a house(s) with a foreclosure sign outside? Much more relevant.

2. Content - you need more of it. Your subject is obviously specialised and so the potential for good search engine rankings is huge but for that you need to be posting regularly. Hunt out other blogs or news releases on the subject and link back to those sites. You should also be commenting on other people's blogs to act as a link back to you.

You have a great niche which is very topical; you now need to leverage off that.
