You may have read in my profile that I am a banker by day. This afternoon I held a seminar for approximately 40 bankers from various banks across Africa.
The session was entitled 'Developing and Implementing an Effective SME Portfiolio'.
Whilst focused at bankers I covered a number of generic areas such as setting out a strategy, writing a business plan, propsecting for clients, interviewing technique. In presentation terms it took 3 1/2 hours so my throat is red raw.
I told the delegates that I would load the speech up for them to download so I thought I would share the link with you.
I also added an extra download which is a list of warning signs that we bankers look out for in businesses - a nice piece of insider knowledge for you on how bankers think!

The words are obviously focused at the bankers and not Forum users! One thing I would ask is that you don't circulate it around the net - this is my thanks to you personally for signing up here.
If you have any comments or feedback please feel free to post.
