Usually starters fall for these myths, if you plan to start a business you must take sometime to search every aspect of the business you are planning to start.

Why share myths? Why not share a concrete action plan that anyone can follow when stuck in a given situation.

One thing should be always remembered that what represents your business is your business plan, so keep it as professional as possible. It's always good to seek advice from the professionals.

In my opinion before writing a business plan you should consider many things. Here are some tips to write a proper business plan.
1. Vision
2. Know about your Budget
3. Don't Ignore Your Customers
4. Competitors Analysis

Definitely look at your competitors because that "same ol" they have been doing can be updated and made better so you take from their marketshare and pull into yours. If your market is different but you can pull from the competitor's marketshare, even better because they cannot compete with you.
