I've not been online for the last 4 days because we have been without power but finally back on tonight!
Now, living in Africa as I have for the last 9 years, you kind of get used to these little irritations ... but I still haven't learned!
I reported the fault on Saturday morning and made phone calls on Sat, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, all chasing the power techies to come. With my wife and 4 kids on my back, boy was I getting desperate! So they finally come and within 2 minutes they shake their heads and say 'This fault is nothing to do with us' and promptly left. Urgggg!
So a quick call to a 'proper' electrician getsthe job done.
I should know by now that put here it doesn't pay to get wound up ... why do I never learn!
