I know my messages are rather long.... but I keep having to log in every time I post the messages on the forum ... is it just me?

No, not just you! The system is set up like that as one way of stopping those nasty spammers posting entries. So you register, verify, double opt-in and then log in before you can post - just makes it all it little more difficult.

My computer 'remembers' me so automatically logs me in without doing anything. I think if you click 'remember me' in the login box that should do it. But if you 'clear cookies' regularly then you are back to square one.

At least that's my theory!

I used to have a lot of these problems when I was using Internet Explorer but ever since I have moved over to Firefox, I have found that it has all been much easier and cookies seem to work better.
