Has anyone seen the benefits of linkedin for the business or website? I have found it be a great tool to expose your business and make great connections, but at the same time everyone is sending messages to you about stuff you have no interest in. What are you thoughts?

Would you share some of your benefits for business?
but at the same time everyone is sending messages to you about stuff you have no interest in.
This is a professionals place and I never get any spam or irrelevant emails from people in my connection. If you are getting them, contact to LinkedIn support. Hope you get rid of it. :D

Linkedin is a dating site for professionals in disguise. It's also a jobsite in disguise.
There are some business benefits - people in your field are exposed to your business.

Can't saw I've ever received any spam mail off Linkedin. Also can't say I've got business directly from my Linkedin profile. That said, a good profile should quietly work for you in the background - setting out your credibility and abilities.

things done via real world networking can be accomplished more quickly and efficiently via an online professional networking environment. LinkedIn establishes the perfect environment for building your network. By using LinkedIn you can review a supplier‘s, accountant‘s, or lawyer’s recommendations, reviews and experience before making contact with a new connection.!
