I've started getting invites to join Google +. Is it just another social networking site or is it worth joining?

What are the benefits?

Hi,

Google will eventually integrate its +1 into the search algorithm itself so human votes will have an impact on search ranking. Google+ may share information all over the web but still your personal information is still kept in confidentiality.

That's good to know. The fact that Google will take the results and include them in searches is a compelling reason to sign up. I understand that postings within Facebook are not included in searches (I don't even have a FB account!).

Well, I created by Google + account. Not a complicated affair at all and I can see the benefits.

As I never really 'got' Facebook it was all too daunting to start that seeing that the platform was so developed. At least I've got in at ground level so I can just grow with the enhancements as they come.

It's a social networking site like facebook. Google is adding new features to it, therefore, creating a profile in Google+ will be helpful in future.

It is a social networking site and google just released it in facebook's competition and i really like it but genuinely speaking it is not better or equal to Facebook.

It is similar to other social media site like Facebook, Google+ is new thing for everyone but it has a big name of Google so it could be take some time to get visitors and I think it will be famous and beneficial as Facebook in future.
