Spammers - Scum of the Earth!

Over the last few days this Forum (and many others according to Forum Bulletin boards) have been hit by a huge number of spammers. They have been posting not only useless information to encourage you to click on their link but also 'unsuitable' photos - for this I apologise.

As a result I have spent potentially productive time deleting posts and banning them from future posts - very frustrating.

From now I will be reviewing each sign up individually so I hope none will get through, so if you are one of these guys the message is ... don't waste your time.

But what kind of business people are these? They can't be bothered to come up with an original idea so waste everyone's time.

But I'm watching ....

they are the scums of the earth, This is a business forum and not an advertising forum.

they should try advertising their wears else where from now on

Thanks! I have found a neat way of avoiding the automated programmes which generate sign ups so that has kept them at bay ... but I'm watching!

What gets me is how stupid some people must be by clicking on links and opening e-mails etc. Doesn't this whole subject get enough publicity? There are clearly enough people willingly passing on PINs, bank account numbers etc to make the whole exercise worthwhile. Amazing.

However, there is one positive - it demonstrates the power of a well crafted e-mail subject heading and body copy! Just imagine if these guys turned their hand to real marketing!

It is a good idea.
Spammers are in just to destroy the whole forum.
If you allow them to post advertisements,They start adding Adult content,Virus material to the forum & one day they take each & everything over.
So blocking them is the best option.

This problem is also on so many forums, i think moderation is best way to tackle it, it can control easily by moderation

I think Spammers are in just wast their and over time, they thing nobody is watching and they spade link everywhere but at the end they did get anything.This is very big problem for forums and only and moderation is best way to avoid them.
