I'm sure you've had the above line thrown at you more than once! Well it happened to me today and I counted ... it was just over 8 minutes before I got through to someone.

I had to ring my bank in the UK and if you have seen my Profile page you will have seen that I live in Africa and believe me, ringing the UK off your mobile is not cheap!

And to make matters worse I was trying to sort a problem of their making and I end up paying through the nose to sort it out!!

Oh, and of course the other line that gets thrown at you is, 'your business is valuable to us ...'

Urrrrr!

I usually get:

Please press 1 for billing, press 2 for sales, press 3 to be put on hold for another ten minutes, press 4 to be cut off without any reason, press5 ... blah blah blah :)

It seems that everyones seems to be using the same automatic telelphone answering system nowadays :)

lol @ 5 to be cut off for no reason!! BT are brilliant at that - cant believe such a huge telecoms company still cant sort their own phone system out. Muppets !!! :D

It is happening everywhere in the world right now.
It is a very simple way of earning revenue through it.
A lot of credit is been wasted in these computerized talks & other non-sense.
