Techniques to improve Alexa ranking

Kindly tell me that which of the techniques you use to improve the alexa rank of your website.I have seen that plenty of peoples use forums posting and social bookmarking methods to improve SERP kindly tell me that Do you also use these techniques.......

I'd be interested to hear if there are any specific techniques. As I see it, it just measures traffic to your site and gives you a global ranking.

Take this site' It's been up since December 2001 and so is well 'aged' and gets lots of traffic - it's ranking is currently 149,000th globally. Always amazes me when I check. I do nothing to actively drive traffic any more - it just happens.

I guess it's all about being search engine friendly so you can rank highly for your targeted phrase.
